Positions, trade history, backtests and configuration
The Ledger service records every trade your bot executes, tracks open positions, and computes P&L for both paper and live trading accounts.
Ledger is an optional component — trading bots can be built and run without it.
You can have multiple ledger accounts. We recommend to start with a paper trading account, fine tune your trading strategy there until your win rate is high enough to switch to a live trading account.
Ledger also provides trade export so you can download your full trade history and make tax reporting easy.
